BACKGROUND
Angel is a contemporary painter originally from Galicia (Spain) who immigrated to the US in his teens and is currently living in the New York metropolitan area. From an early age, his self-taught nature has imbued him with incredible talent and versatility. This ability is what allowed him to delve into art in all its forms, styles, and mediums from the traditional to the digital realm.
CAREER
His adaptability and natural design aptitude, combined with his keen eye for detail, led him to a thriving career as a sought-after Senior Design & Illustration Director for a renowned branding firm.
During that time, he worked for many Fortune 500 corporations & famous brands. We can see his commercial work all over the United States and abroad.
After a successful career spanning 25 years, Angel made the bold choice to follow his heart and finally commit to his lifelong passion for Fine Art. Since then, he has been developing a distinct style that merges his wide scope of skills and interests.
HIS UNIQUE VISION
Amidst a wide-ranging array of subjects, Angel’s love for nature & rich Hispanic roots remain a major source of inspiration for his recent paintings. These themes are brought to life through his masterful treatment of linear arrangements, carefully crafted to convey the essence of his cultural heritage & appreciation of the natural world.
The cornerstone of his distinctive style is his mastery of line and form, complemented by his use of vivid colors and asymmetric balance to achieve harmony across complex designs.
Over the years, Angel’s artwork has been exhibited in exclusive private collections and museums across Spain. However, he is now ready to showcase his work to a wider audience.
