This year’s highly coveted award has been bestowed upon painter Angel Souto.

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The CUE Art Foundation & Evercore, a prominent international financial firm, have awarded the Spanish-born painter Ángel Souto with the “Evercore Artist Empowerment Award 2024.” This prestigious recognition includes a solo exhibition in the heart of Manhattan and a generous cash prize.

The Painting Muiño de Xuvia, a Captivating Addition to the Latest Nails in the Wall Gallery Exhibit.

METUCHEN, NJ – Another painting tittled “Muiño de Xuvia” , was selected for the group exhibition, “Home:Security/Insecurity Exhibit (2023),” hosted at the Nails in the Wall Gallery in Metuchen, New Jersey. This work was accepted into this exhibition amongst other 37 artists from 7 states and 4 countries.

Newark, NJAs part of the NEWARK ARTS FESTIVAL, a selection of Angel’s Paintings is being featured at Gateway Center as part of the “Cross-Cultural Perspectives ExhibitFollowing the event at the Newark Museum the day before, the Opening for the Gateway Center Exhibit was held on September 28th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

We would like to extend our appreciation to the Newark Arts Festival Committee for selecting Angel’s work and to all the organizers for their hard work.

Among the select few chosen to grace the museum’s walls was Angel’s painting, “Aurora Ad Mare,” a creation that radiates full of symbolism and creativity.

Mother Nature vs Human Nature: The Inequity of Climate Resilience

Atlantic City, NJ – The work of Spanish artist Angel Souto has been selected among 825 paintings submitted by 192 artists to be a part of the prestigious “NJ Art Annual” exhibition at the Noyes Museum of Atlantic City. Out of these, only 103 works have been chosen. His painting “Naturae Lamentum” is an impressive representation of the conflict between nature and humanity, with a composition full of symbolism that reflects the artist’s vision of the relationship between the two worlds.

Watchung, NJ – A collective exhibition featuring the work of Angel is currently on display at the Heinz W.Otto Gallery, part of the Watchung Arts Center. The “Love Exhibition”, which runs from January 15th to February 18th, has the theme of love and features a selection of paintings from several regional artists. The exhibition features the painting “A Carolina”, which was awarded as Best in Show by the jury
